Broadway Accent School has stepped into another glorious step having upgraded to Higher Secondary School with effect from Academic Session 2020 by the W.B.C.H.S.E. vide Memo No. DS(Aca)SD/SF/0010/Recog/2020-21 dated 21.09.2020. Since the pandemic has been prevailing from the very beginning of the year 2020, consequent upon which Lock-down is being imposed off and on. In this adverse circumstances this achievement eventually has proved that Truth must prevail. It's a great pride of all concerned, the school authority, teachers, staff, parents, Hon'ble members of the Advisory Committee, educationists of the society and the education-loving people of the locality. Prior to this, the school was granted recognition as X-class High School with the nomenclature of BROADWAY ACCENT HIGH SCHOOL w.e. from Ist January, 2012 vide No. S/Recog./2013/2 dated 16.01.2013. Broadway Accent School, the primary unit of this integrated Co-educational institution was also recognized under W.B.B.P.E. vide No. 645-SE(EE)/10M93/2013 dated 27.06.14.

The founder envisaged a quality school system keeping balance between Indian culture and tradition with the best of western ideals where the little learners are to be nurtured with motherly affection to become ideal citizens of the country as well as of the world. Based on these ideals the learners in this institution are being encouraged to develop their individualities and to ensure all round development with the teachers teaming up with the parents. Apart from studies to infuse the spirit of competition and to bring out their latent talents, a wide exposure is to be provided to the students at every age in a variety of fields like sports, dance, public speaking, dramatics, debate, cultural training and stage performance.

In spite of outbreak of pandemic due to Covid-19 from the very beginning of 2020 by which we are passing very hard days and the learners are locked at home, our teachers can not remain quiet at home. They can never forget their beloved students. They have kept touch with every student over phone. They have launched online education with interaction facilities with the students. Besides imparting lessons e-learning system of evaluation is also being conducted regularly. Parents have also congratulated the school for launching the e-learning system of education.

With the granting recognition of H.S. unit of the school, all concerned specially the teachers are to shoulder more responsibilities to nurture the learners from Nursery to H.S. level more effectively and to serve the society best. Our teachers are committed to do so. Time and tide wait for none. As such, with the threatening of Covid-19 we cannot remain idle at home. We are to step forward to new era. Accordingly, the school has kept the door open for admission of new learners in academic session 2021. All arrangements have been kept ready for their joyful learning likely to be commenced from first week of January.2021.

The school also invites the secondary examination passed (M.P.) students for taking admission in class -XI in academic session 2020 in different streams and subjects for recording their names in the history of the school as well as in their life as first batch of HS. students. To avail this glorious opportunity we are ready to welcome them all.

As regards infrastructure of facilities in H.S. unit, it can be said that everybody will extol the arrangement. It's spacious class-room, well-equipped laboratories and the faculty with highly qualified and experienced teachers. All these arrangements have been made with the insight that the learners may imbibe the lessons easily.

At last I solicit the co-operation as being rendered by the parents/guardians and the people of society of all comers will be continued in coming days to make our future generation as ideal citizen of the country.
